Welcome to BetterBidding!

We have moved your post to its own thread here in the Hotwire Mexico section of the board.

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy (there are some ways around this for 'regular' hotels but not advisable for all-inclusive properties) so i would therefore suggest using HOTWIRE where they guarantee sleeping accommodations for the number of guests you include in the search.

Typically HOTWIRE defines 'children' as ages 2-17 so you could search HOTWIRE for 3rooms/6adults/4children (not including the 1 year old in the middle room you listed above) but i will comment that this could potentially be an issue if you land an all-inclusive property that charges extra for all children regardless of age.  If you want to avoid this potentially issue i would first search for 3rooms/6adults/5children (the actual number of children) and see if there is anything of interest and within your budget (you could then also search for 3rooms/6adults/4children and if there is a significant price difference make the purchase using 4children and then call/email the awarded hotel to make sure that there will not be any additional charge for the 1 year old (you don't have to specifically ask them, you could let them know that you have a 1 year old and if you could get a crib, rollaway, etc. in the room and if there is any issue with the room assigned accommodating both children (even though only 1 declared on the search)).  If the hotel has issue or there is an additional charge you could then all HOTWIRE indicating that you were only prepared to spend the amount quoted and didn't include the 1year old since their form only indicated to include children that are 2+ years in age.  If there is no price difference in searching for 5children vs. 4children, or if the price is negligible and you want to avoid having to deal trying to straighten out the not included 1 year old, i would book as 5children (but if the price difference is large it may be worth the trouble to resolve, but do this asap after the reservation just in case HOTWIRE's solution is to cancel the reservation if you're not willing to pay an additional charge)

What part of Mexico is it that you're looking to visit?  If you search HOTWIRE (use our BiddingHelper.com tool and the GREEN 'See All Amenities' button in the EASY VIEW tab to ensure you're seeing all of the amenities) do you see any offers that are of interest and within your budget?

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
