Priceline Hotel: Bidding help Amsterdam March 11th

Need advice for bidding one night (3-11) Amsterdam, city center or Museum Quarter. 3* or 4*, hopefully well under $100. Thank you

I would start bidding at $95 for a 4*, if rejected add the free rebid zone and bid $100.

What would you bid for a 3*? Their money is getting tight!

I wish I could help but despite several tries over the last week or so I'm not having much like trying to book three rooms in A'dam for 3 nights in May /June via piceline. We went up to

I haven't had any luck so far. I will try again when my 72 hours are up, just before they need the room. In the meantime, I have booked a room for 65 euros for both, including breakfast. It was very hard to find a room at a decent price on the weekend - either the prices were raised substantially for the weekend (one hotel doubled the price) or there was a 2 or 3 day minimum. The place I booked looks very clean and in a great location, so it will do fine if I can't book a room via priceline.

Is is true that you no longer need to wait 72 hours to make another bid, but only 24 hours? Does anyone know about this?

Yes, that's true. Just make sure you have waited the full 24 hours. I'd look carefully at the cancellation penalty for the place you booked, though, given that it's practically March 11 in Amsterdam right now.
