Looking for 4* hotel or higher in San Francisco for June 12th to June 16th. Preference is financial district. Willing to go to Fishermans Wharf or Union Square East if necessary in that order. Looking to pay about $150 a night but will go to $175 if need be. Any tips Express deal or hotwire or name your price! Thanks in advance!!!

do you think the 150-175 is enough for a 4* or above in those areas

Not sure which areas you're referring to since many of the requests above were for zones that were not included in your original post as being acceptable (as well as many of the hotels above being less than 4 stars)

If USW is acceptable then a $150-$175 bid would be too high given the following offer on PRICELINE EXPRESS:

4* Union Square West (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $148/nite with:
Business Center
Restaurant
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
==> Serrano Hotel

If USE is acceptable you might have a chance at something there near the $175 area, but it would be close and would potentially take a little more.

I don't think you have much of a chance at a 4* in the Financial District or the Fisherman's Wharf zone (where it would most likely take $190-$210, imo)

4* Financial District - Embarcadero (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $208/nite with:
Pets Allowed
Business Center
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
==> Hilton San Francisco Financial District would be the best guess for this one

I'm really looking for something along the lines of Orchard or Orchard Garden

What exactly about these hotels is it that makes them of interest (so we have a better idea of what you mean by 'along the lines of...')

Also, as both the Orchard Hotel and the Orchard Garden are in PRICELINE's Union Square East zone... so is hotel style or location most important to you, since you mentioned the Financial District and Fisherman's Wharf zones as being your first/second choices (with Union Square East a third choice)

When you have specific needs/wants always try to let us know at the beginning of your search as it will save time pursuing/suggesting hotels that will not likely be of interest.

Looking for somewhere safe that still has nice accommodations...to be honest not too picky I have just looked at reviews and the Serrano would have been perfect but I read it's under construction so that was the negative...also moved towards the USE Nob Hill USW due to pricing... realized financial and fisherman's may be out of my range.
