vandy2000
I am looking at priceline. For 6/30 to 7/2. First choice is central strip I am finding $74 for Ballys. I think this is same for express deal $68. What should i bid for in bid your own price My bid for $60 got rejected Any other help finding nice hotel with pool on the strip will be very much appreciated Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. I'm seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the link below.) 3.5* The Strip - Central East for $68 Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Best guess would be Bally's. If you use the 5% promotion in my signature that brings it down to $64 and change per night. So if you bid $60 and that failed and the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal -5% is $64.60. You can try a $62 bid or just take the $64 so that you don't risk the price going up in the meantime. Additionally, there is a risk that the hotel you win bidding is not the hotel showing on PRICELINE EXPRESS. Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. vandy2000
Thank you. One question do you think i will get better deal waiting till June or should i just book for $64 using your coupon. Link to comment
thereuare
There is no way to know if rates will come down or only move higher from here... especially in Las Vegas where prices move more quickly than any other hotel market. Also, the hotel is already fairly low priced (on a dollar basis) and there is a certain floor/minimum where it does not become profitable for the hotel to fill the room, so how much cheaper could a 3.5* hotel located in the center strip go for? In this situation i think it comes down to how well this property and location works for your needs vs. what other options you have should this offer disappear. Looking at PRICELINE EXPRESS and only in the Strip Central East and Strip Central West zones, the next cheapest property is nearly double at $113/nite. The Strip North zones will probably put you outside of the 'main' part of the Strip (ie- Stratoshere, SLS, etc) and the Strip South zones offer what looks to be the 3* rated Excalibur at $73/nite (Bally's is higher rated and a better deal, imo) and after that you're looking at $100+ in this zone... so the risk in waiting is that there are not many other options around this price point, imo.
