There is no way to know, really. Prices can absolutely go both ways, but there have been plenty of instances (especially as demand has ramped up post-2008) where rates have gone up closer to the date. While there are no guarantees, this is not a slow period in San Fran so there is certainly risk of prices going higher. Additionally, when looking at June in San Francisco, at $109 for a 4*, the risk in prices is more to the upside than the downside.
