cndec30
I've been stalking Priceline and Hotwire for 2 weeks and just get very confused. I think this is the Swan due to the $31.50 resort fee but maybe some others have that same amount? It's only 4 stars where your Priceline lists have it at 4.5? I think the "pets allowed" amenity is throwing me off. Dates are 10-15 May 2018, 1 room, two travelers. I would like a Disney Hotel. If not that, then one that is close, has free parking, and free breakfast. Thanks, Christine Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please post the description of the hotel (rather than the link) as this puts all of the information directly in the post so everyone can see without needing to click-thru, and also makes the information 'permanent' since that link will likely expire in a few hours (and certainly won't be available after your check-out dates have past). Assuming this is the offer you're seeing: 4* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (<-- CLICK HERE and confirm your dates on the landing page) for $187/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> this would not be The Swam since if you click THIS LINK you will see that this property is currently 4.5* rated by PRICELINE (not to mention that the Swan does not allow pets)... from the Hotwire Hotel List the amenity set above matches previous reports for the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek and that would be my best guess for this one If you are looking for The Swan: 4.5* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $268/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is my best guess for this one Does this work for your plans/budget... if not, what is your maximum budget? Also, as you have been 'stalking' PRICELINE / HOTWIRE for the last 2 weeks what is it that you are looking that stopped you from acting on the one above (when you thought it was The Swan)? cndec30
Thanks for your response. Sorry about posting the link. As for what is stopping me: this room is for my son and his friend. He is leaning towards getting a resort with a free breakfast and free parking. BUT...he would rather stay on site, so if a room rate came up that was a relatively good deal to make it "worth it" he would cancel his rental car and go on site. There's not really a budget per se, but more of is he getting a good value for the price paid. But, in generally, looking to pay no more than about $200 per night. I'm feeling like onsite is not going to happen but I want to give it another week or so. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Where and how much is his current back-up reservation? (if you're not aware we also own RefundableRates.com which is great when trying to weigh your options based upon rates that are refundable) Once he has made his decision as to what he really wants in a hotel for this trip (as staying at an on-site resort vs. a hotel with free parking/breakfast are almost at the opposite ends of the spectrum) let us know what he is 'trying to beat' as a non on-site hotel with Free Parking and Free Breakfast can probably be had thru HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS for less than his current deal. cndec30
Just letting you know, he ended up booking through PRICELINE EXPRESS (using your link). Got the Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista which was exactly what he was hoping for. $122 per night and used the 5% coupon. Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Pets Allowed, Fitness Center, Business Center, Restaurant, No Smoking Rooms/Facilities, Free Internet, Indoor or Outdoor Pool Link to comment
