I did not take the offer. When you added on the taxes, I found it cheaper on a few other sites. :( Still hoping prices will drop a bit more before I book

You can use our new RateDrop tool to monitor rates for hotels of this (or any) star rating in the zone (or other zones)... as well as prices for this hotel itself if you're specifically trying to target this property.

 

However, when making comparisons ensure you're doing an apples-to-apples comparison... the Staypineapple at The Maxwell Hotel is currently selling for $273/nite for your dates so the discount is certainly deep enough to make up any booking fee that may be charged by HOTWIRE.  I'm guessing that the lower rate you found found  likely did not include the hotel's resort fee (which is included in the bottomline HOTWIRE total... or you were comparing HOTWIRE's all-in rate to another website's rate before taxes/fees)
