As soon as I had access to the name of the hotel, last Sunday, I sent them an email to confirm the reservation. Two days later, as they didn’t answer me, I have called the hotel and they told me that they could not confirm my reservation and that I had to send them an email. I have explained that I had already sent an email on Sunday and they told me they were going to answer my email. Today, still no answer from the hotel, I have called a friend and asked him to call the hotel and confirm my reservation. He received the same answer: "we can not confirm the reservation, send us an email. My friend explained that I had already sent an email 4 days ago and they told they were going to answer my email... no answer until now. I don't know what to do in this case.... Link to comment

leonsousa Posted March 9, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2018 Hello thereuare, The issue is: I have been using Hotwire and Priceline for years and I always get in touch with the hotels as soon as I know their names. And the hotels always confirm my reservations in less than 24h. This time, the hotel is not able to confirm my reservation. What will happen I arrive at the hotel and they don't have my reservation? As I live in Brazil, yesterday I have used the chat to talk with a priceline representative and he told me: "I'm sorry for the confusion, Leonardo, and I understand this is very important, however, we are unable to resolve this specific matter through chat. This can be more efficiently addressed through our phones directly". Finally, I would love to share one more of my express deals here. However, I had another issue during my reservation. When I click on the hotel deal, it was marked as Good 7+/10 (I have the screenshot), nevetherless when the name of the hotel appeared (Sansi Diputacio Hotel), I found out that it is a 5+/10, not a 7+/10 hotel.
