Jules9982
I’m looking for a room from 3/8-3/11 in Vegas. I can get an express deal for $189 a night and I think it’s palazzo or Wynn. What are my chances of doing name for price for 150? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! If this is the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal you're referring to (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link provided below): 5* The Strip - Northeast (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $189/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess for this one would be The Wynn Also note the board's exclusive Priceline Coupon for an extra 5% off, so your room rate above would actually be $179/nite, so take this into consideration when bidding on PRICELINE and setting your maximum bid price. My guess is that $150 won't be enough (it may take closer to $165-$175) but if you'd like help with a bidding strategy let us know what maximum bid you'd like to try and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow (or let us know what you get if you take the offer above). Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and elt us know how it goes or how we can be of further help. Jules9982
Thanks for getting back to me. I know the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal is $153 a night and the palazzo based on bed choices they are offering. Do you think I could get any lower by doing name your price offer.? Or is it just worth it getting the express deal. Link to comment
thereuare
If this is the updated offer you're referring to: 5* The Strip - Northeast (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $157/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> i agree that the best guess for this one would be the Palazzo As far as trying to bid on PRICELINE for a lower rate vs. taking this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer... it comes down to a question of how much you want to try and specifically target this property vs. being able to accept any 5* hotel in the zone. If you save a few dollars but received a different property (Venetian, Wynn, etc) would it be worth the savings OR are you hoping for the Palazzo? If you'd like to try bidding let us know your maximum bid (how much below the PRICELINE EXPRESS price above would make it worthwhile to potentially win a different property) and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. Keep in mind the board's current Priceline Coupon which will take 5% off of the price of the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal above, so keep this in mind when determining your maximum bid price. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
