kelleek
Staying in Chicago 11/1-11/3 12/1/-12/3. Trying to find something in Mil. Park, River North or Mag Mile areas. The issue is we will have our dog, so we need pet friendly. But, I’d like to determine hotel since they may be pet friendly, but still charge $100+ for a pet. Checked out bidding helper and I’m eyeing a 4.5* millennium park area for $96. thereuare
Please start by following-up your previous Hotwire Suite hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. 2 hours ago, kelleek said: Staying in Chicago 11/1-11/3 ... then reply here clarifying the dates of your stay, as these dates are already in the past. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. kelleek
Dang it. I thought I had closed out all my posts. It’s now been done. And yes I did mean December 1-3. Sorry. Link to comment
thereuare
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 4.5* HOTWIRE Millennium Park for $95.00 Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> if this is what you're seeing, best guess for this offer would be the Swissotel - Chicago Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
AaronJB
On PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page), I'm seeing: 4.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $108 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Guess would be the W Lakeshore or Intercontinental, although I'd lean a bit more towards the former. 4.5* Downtown - River North for $120 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Guess would be the Westin River North Let us know what you decide or if you have any additional questions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. kelleek
Thank you. This might be too risky given the fees. Of the hotels named above the only one that doesn’t charge is the Westin. The rest are a minimum hundred dollars, at which point I might as well just book directly somewhere that doesn’t charge a fee. Link to comment
AaronJB
I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 4.5* Navy Pier for $124.00 Pet Friendly Indoor Pool Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Guess would be the Intercontinental, although having stayed at both the Intercontinental and Westin River North, I'd rather the Westin. Both are fine properties, but I do like the Westin more and personally prefer staying in River North vs staying right on Michigan Ave. What would be your desired "room + pet fee" budget per night? kelleek
Well, the Aloft is $125/night with no additional pet fees. So certainly no more than that. Link to comment
