==> not 100% certain, but the Residence Inn San Diego Mission Valley or the Courtyard By Marriott San Diego Mission Valley/Hotel Circle (i'm a bit 'iffy' as i would expect the Residence Inn to typically show a Breakfast amenity while i would expect the Courtyard to show a Restaurant amenity)... either way this property does get good reviews given the 8+ user recommendation from previous PRICELINE guests

Thanks for your help!  I have a decent rate that I booked directly at the Best Western Plus Hacienda Old Town.  If I book this Priceline Express deal,  I will let you know.  For now,  I'm watching Express Deals and I may bid on a 3 1/2 or 4 star hotel next week.  I will click your PRICELINE link to access their site.

Please follow-up your threads with whatever you decide to do for this trip (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans.

 

What is your back-up rate at the Best Western?

The Best Western rate is $101.36/night.  The AAA parking rate for 5 nights is $47.50 (1/2 off regular price).  Total price with taxes= $652.65.  The PRICELINE EXPRESS deal will save me about $80.00 (assuming that parking will be $19.00/night).  I may still book that, but I'm keeping my options open since I have a backup plan that I can live with.  I will check out your sister sites in the future, and I will let you know what I ultimately decide to do on this trip.  Thanks for all you do!
