1JavaMama
Priceline declined my offer of $75 for a 3* hotel and messaged me back. They offered a "Try Again Right Now" with a $20 increase. I need to offer $95. Is this something I need to do? I feel like $20 is a pretty big jump. One of the 3* in that area is only $100. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. The "counter offer" from PRICELINE means that what's required to win is somewhere within the range of the counter-offer and the last failed bid. If you let us know more about what you are looking for (dates of travel, zone, location) we can research and offer a better insight as to how to proceed and other suggestions/options. You can always use re-bid zones (Priceline Re-Bidding Explained) in order to undercut the counter-offer... but if you use this method we recommend you ask for help and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board to ensure you don't end up in an area you didn't intend. See this thread for more information: Priceline Suggests Price to Pay Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
