SKN
Hi there, This is our first time to Vegas and first time using Priceline. I found this on PRICELINE EXPRESS. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Your title suggests a casino hotel but i don't see that in the amenities you listed, although i am seeing it in the offer below (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link provided below): 4.5* The Strip - Northeast for $116 Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> if this is the one you're seeing, best guess would be the W Las Vegas While the W Las Vegas is a nice and new hotel, it's not really in the 'main' part of the strip where you would ideally want to be as a first time visitor. Not sure of your budget, but my suggestion(s) would be (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking any of the links below): 5* The Strip - Southwest for $128 Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess for this one would be the Vdara Hotel and Spa. It's a somewhat newer hotel (10 years old??) with a very good center strip location... the downside is that it's more of 'just' a very nice hotel with no casino, limited number of dining options, etc. This may not seem like much of deterrent, but you will lose a bit of the 'Vegas vibe' from the standpoint that most hotels are destinations and this is 'just' a hotel and a place to sleep (although give the 5 star rating it is a very nice hotel, but just lacking the Vegas flavor) 5* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Fountains for $147.00 Free Internet Resort Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Aria Resort and Casino is my best guess here, which does have a casino on-site and has a center strip location. It's not the most 'over the top' Vegas-y hotel, but it is more so than the Vdara, so basically it comes down to price and what type of experience you are looking for in a hotel for this trip. Do either of the above work for your needs? Thoughts? Questions? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. SKN
Many thanks for your suggestions. You're right. I want to avoid Vrada as I want to experience the Vegas vibe :) As for our date, we actually want 2 rooms: 1 from Nov 13th to 15th and 1 for Nov 16th to 18th. I'm hoping fot budget from $200 to $230 max. I also hope for Ceasars, Venitien, Palazzo, Bellagio, Wynn. Is this achievable? Link to comment
bacardi
Wynn appears to be on HOTWIRE right now for $84/night for your dates; same amenities listed HERE Link to comment
AaronJB
I'm seeing on HOTWIRE for 11/13-15 5* North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $204.00 Resort Suite Casino Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> This would be a possible match for the Encore. 5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $84.00 Free Parking Free Internet Spa Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette ==> This would likely be the Trump. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Please start a new thread for the additional nights and we would be happy to help. thereuare
16 hours ago, SKN said: we actually want 2 rooms: 1 from Nov 13th to 15th and 1 for Nov 16th to 18th To confirm, you will not be in Vegas for the nite of 11/15 and don't need a room for that nite? Please start a NEW TOPIC for your additional stay of 11/16-11/18. For 11/13-11/15 you may be interested in (confirm your dates on the landing pages after clicking any links provided below): 4.5* The Strip - Northwest for $140 Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> guess would be The Mirage 4.5* The Strip - Central West for $163 Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Caesars would be my guess here (although my personal preference i think The Mirage is a better property) Is there a reason you're not interested in the Aria (from previous post) at $147/nite? (EDIT TO ADD: i did have a very quick look at 11/16-11/18 and i see what looks like the Venetian or Palazzo (more likely the Palazzo) for $165/nite which would be a good compliment to staying at The Aria... first dates (at Aria) use to explore mid-strip and south then second dates (Venetian/Palazzo) to explore mid-strip and north) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
