faithful96
St. Giles - The Court does not appear to be a 4 star hotel based on recent reviews, but at $100 in NYC one cannot expect The Ritz. Hopefully we will get lucky with one of the nicer rooms, and either way we will make the best of it. I used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link and discount code. PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal St. Giles - The Court Room price: $100.00 avg./night Number of rooms:1 room Number of nights:2 nights Room subtotal:$200.00 Taxes & fees:$56.00 Coupon:- $10.00 Total charged: $246.00 Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success! As you point out, while this may not be The Ritz, it is certainly a great deal for a midtown hotel in NYC! You're also not too far from my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers.... would be about a 15 minute walk from your hotel, but worth it, imo. Thank you for using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase and sharing your win, helping us update the Priceline Express Hotel List with the new star rating for this property... do you also happen to recall the amenities that PRICELINE EXPRESS associated with this property and showed prior to your purchase? faithful96
I suspect we will need carbs on Sunday morning, so thanks for the heads up on Ess-A-Bagel. Let's see... this is what I remember: Free Internet Pets Allowed Business Center Bed Choice And these are the amenities linked off my receipt: Business centre Facilities for disabled guests Fitness centre Free Internet Free WiFi Non-smoking rooms Non-smoking throughout Pets allowed Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for the follow-up. Please try to note the amenities before your future PRICELINE EXPRESS purchases since (as you can see) they are different than the amenities shown after your purchase. Enjoy your carb-filled Sunday morning (NOTE: expect a crowd especially on Sunday morning... move somewhat quickly though) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
