Certainly a great location. Easy drive North to Vernon Hills (and Libertyville a bit further), a lot of dining nearby, including Walker Brothers (https://www.yelp.com/biz/walker-bros-original-pancake-house-lincolnshire-2) and Bonta (https://www.yelp.com/biz/bonta-lincolnshire-4),

The known 3.5*'s in the Deerfield zone are the Hyatt, Embassy Suites and Marriott Suites; there may be something else but those are the hotels that have been reported. You could try bidding and potentially get something at the 3.5* level in Deerfield for low-mid $50's.

We ended up booking a Starwood with points. The point value was so low it just made sense.
