PAC33
I've noticed sometimes that the comparables that show up when I click the "good price" button are different for one hotel vs another in the same zone and star rating (this is for HOTWIRE -- not sure if same for PRICELINE). Do the amenities drive these? How are they produced? Just trying to learn more! Link to comment
thereuare
The comparables should be the same, assuming you're comparing when searching the same dates... if you note a difference for the same star rating, zone, and dates please let us know and we will look into it further. The purpose of the IS THIS A GOOD PRICE button is to show you regular prices for hotels of the same star rating in/near the zone for your dates of travel, so that you can easily determine if you're getting a good deal based upon the HOTWIRE / PRICELINE EXPRESS rate... it does not take into account amenities, reviews, or any other information like that. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
