If you want to pursue bidding on PRICELINE for a lower price for this trip, you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid.  Are your plans flexible enough for this trip that this is acceptable OR do you prefer to pay a little more than you would pay when bidding and have a guess as to the property that it is that you may likely receive (thereby also having a guess as to the location, amenities, user reviews, etc)?
