julieseaborn
Ideally around $100CAD. The Downtown Financial District is the area we'd like to focus on. Link to comment
thereuare
Need a few points of clarification before moving forward... 1) when bidding no PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose... is the Downtown-Financial District geographically small enough that anywhere in the zone will have you close enough to the location that you'd like to be in... or do you want to use PRICELINE EXPRESS and/or HOTWIRE where you can often take an educated guess as to what it is that you may receive (and thereby also have a guess as to where within the zone the hotel may be) 2) if you only want to be in the Financial District and at a minimum 4* property your budget will not be enough based upon current prices... my bidding no PRICELINE you can probably get something in the $80-$95 USD; for HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS you're likely looking about $95 USD 3) please post your budget in USD and before taxes/fees as this keeps all prices on the board consistent and not subject to interpretation based upon future currency fluctuations, as well as removes one more step in the research process as we don't need to convert the posted currency to USD to know exactly what your budget is Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed (or ask questions regarding anything above) and we'll take it from there. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. julieseaborn
Yes, the financial District would be fine. We need to be close to the Bell Centre. $80-$90 USD would be fine. We could go higher if need be. Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding 4* in this region you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* Downtown Financial Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $88, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $90 If the above is rejected we will review to see if you want to go a few dollars higher or at that point (also for a few dollars higher) have a bit more insight as to the hotel you may likely receive. Any questions feel free to ask (especially confirming your re-bid zones if you're new to the subject or unsure) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
