I was looking to go to NYC for a weekend between the week after Labor Day and the 3rd week of October - so I did multiple weekend searches and on on this weekend of 09/29/17 - 10/02/017 - a "weekend special" popped up for $136.00 in the Times Square North zone.  I used the Trip Advisor rating and the Trip Advisor number of Reviews; along with the Amenities at the hotel to figure out that it was most likely the New York Hilton Midtown, which I had gotten quite a few times in the early 2000's.  I love the location and the hotel is fine.  So I opted to purchase the hotel and it did turn out to be the New York Hilton Midtown.
