Dream23
Awesome! This looks like a good location for us. Going to a concert at Wrigley. Link to comment
AaronJB
Please keep us updated on what you decide. If you go to a concert at Wrigley, I'd take the Red Line heading North to Addison, then Wrigley is right there. If you head there early to get ahead of crowds, it's a nice area to walk around while you wait for the concert. Dream23
Thanks for the correction on it being the Red Line. Looks like it stops pretty close to the hotel. We could also take an uber too. My friend will be 6 months pregnant. Is there any Chicago Pizza Places around Wrigley? We are going for the Backstreet Boys / Florida Georgia Line Show. AaronJB
No problem. If you are coming in from O'Hare, then you will take the Blue Line in. The Red Line can be gotten on at Lake and then you take that Northbound to Addison. At the Addison Red Line stop, Wrigley is pretty much right there - it is clearly visible a couple blocks to the West. There are a lot of bars and some restaurants around Wrigley. If you walk a bit to the East of the "L" station to Halsted, block or so North is a newer Whole Foods. In terms of pizza, there is Coalfire (thin crust) not too far away on Southport. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/coalfire-pizza-chicago-2. This article also highlights some of the other restaurants in the area: https://chicago.eater.com/maps/best-wrigleyville-restaurants-near-cubs-baseball-field-chicago In terms of Chicago Deep Dish, there is actually a Giordanos a couple of blocks South of the Hyatt (https://giordanos.com/locations/prudential-plaza-millenium-park/). Uno's is not a very far walk North of the hotel and there's also quite good pizza at Eataly (https://www.eataly.com/us_en/stores/chicago/chicago-la-pizza-la-pasta/). Also quite tremendous at Eataly: https://www.eataly.com/us_en/stores/chicago/chicago-la-focaccia/ Thanks for keeping us updated and please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Dream23
Thanks for all of your help! We got the Hyatt Regency, via PRICELINE EXPRESS, using the BiddingHelper.com Tool for $95 a night. Very excited. We are coming in via the South Shore. My friend will be 6 months pregnant, so we are hoping for a two bed room. Is it better to arrive earlier in the day to increase chances? I greatly appreciate your help! Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. Really reasonable win for Chicago during this time of year and not far at all from the Millennium Station on the South Shore line. If you do need two beds, I'd call and make a request before the stay. The Hyatt is the largest hotel in the city; while no guarantees, if it's not a busy day two beds will probably not be an issue. Hopefully you'll get a room with a river view, as well. Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
