ATravelingMan
We'll be in Houston for 1 night only, 6/17 - 6/18, for a wedding, and need a 2 adult/2 child room (There will be 5 of us but our 11-year-old is very petite and can sleep in bed with Mom, or a teenager sleeps on an inflatable cushion on the floor). Any suggestions in the area for hotels that offer either a King with a sofa sleeper, or two queens, and preferably a suite? Free parking is a big plus, but that is not available Downtown. Free breakfast would be great, but only one star level of 3 or better offers that and it doesn't show free parking. Need at least a 3* on Hotwire; I've been disappointed in 2 1/2*s on Hotwire in the past. 80% or better recommended is what my wife usually needs. Some options: Downtown Houston 4* $68 95% Recommended. FULL AMENITIES: Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Children's activities, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Galleria 3 1/2* $62 90% Recommended. FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby Galleria 3* $68 95% Recommended. FULL AMENITIES: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Suite, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower I can get the Crowne Plaza River Oaks for $82.49 including tax on their website, prepaid nonrefundable rate. This includes two queens or King plus sofa, so it may be my best bet. Self parking costs $9, valet is $14. Thanks for any assistance on which hotels these are, and whether you are aware of what bedding may come with Hotwire rooms -- two queens, king plus sofa sleeper, and/or suite preferred.
