Incredible difficult completing this booking - don't know what the issue was but it took 7 tries before it actually confirmed, previously just saying "Error."  Hotwire "customer service" makes a mockery of that title - they are absolutely worthless and won't do anything to assist even once you've run the gauntlet to actually get a person on the phone without having a completed reservation.

Property is great, and was expected as the only one that could fit the description - savings aren't anywhere near what are claimed as when booking direct it's probably $60 more/night.   Like most resorts these days, the fees/taxes are staggering and I think all these sites should include them instead of just displaying the base rate.

Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your results with the board.

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post, which would not have been seen unless you searched using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature).

Can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the full list of amenities associated with this property (including any accessible amenities)... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.

The all-in prices is (almost) always shown prior to your purchase so there are usually no unexpected surprises.  We use room rate only on the board since that is what is displayed by the booking services, so if a user is asking for help and wants us to research a hotel that is for example $78/nite, it is easiest for us to go look for that number, whereas an all-in dollar amount would require that we click on many different offers to find the same hotel to investigate.  If you want others to know about the all-in rate you can of course include this information within the body of your post... and if you're looking for information on resort fees (and other fees) you can use our sister site ResortFee.com.

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Thanks, enjoy your stay.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
