jargey3000
oops...sorry. The June 10 was a typo. I'm just looking at 1 night - June 11 There is no 6/17 night - the "17" refers to "2017" :) Lets try to identify the 2.5 star with the "100% rec"? And, i would still also like to identify the 4-star, "45% rec" hotel . Tks Link to comment
AaronJB
4* Port Everglades for $87.00 Pet Friendly Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Guess would be the Hilton. 2.5* Port Everglades for $88.00 Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Shuttle Smoke Free Fitness Business Hi-Speed Internet Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Guess would be the Holiday Inn Express Ft Lauderdale Cruise-Airport. With 100% approval rating and 4/5 tripadvisor rating, the underlying property certainly does get good reviews. jargey3000
Thank you aaron. From your experience, would this seem to be a "good deal" for the 2.5-star? I've never used Priceline. Any idea of my chances of getting a decent hotel there for say under $100/night (all-in) for my June 11 stay? (Also FYI...someone on the cruisecritic forum thought the 2.5 star was the Extended Stay America?, and the 4-star as The Sheraton Suites?) :) Link to comment
thereuare
I'm currently seeing this 4* hotel in the zone: 4* HOTWIRE Port Everglades for $89.00 with an 85% recommendation and a 4.0/5.0 TA rating: Pet Friendly Near Beach Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Travel Accessible Room Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> best guess here would be the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel For essentially the same price i would take the higher star rated hotel... although if traveling with my complete family i could see the value in the free breakfast of the Holiday Inn Express if that is something you would be able take advantage of. jargey3000
thanks. will do. i guess hotels / pricing changes almost daily? Here's maybe a "reverse" question? Can anyone identify if The Courtyard by Marriott, 440 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale Beach, is currently on the Hotwire list of hotels for Fort Lauderdale Beach zone? date: June 11. and if so, what price? thanks. thereuare
PRICELINE / HOTWIRE offers may stay the same between now and your trip... or the one you have your eye on could change the very next time you search; there is no way to know which is why if there is a offer that you like and it seems like a good deal, it's better to grab it while you can as sometimes a 'bird in hand is...' thereuare
There are over ten 3.5* properties offered in this zone, so choosing your hotel and then hoping it among the hotels offers is not very likely going to happen; sometimes you do get lucky, but we don't recommend working this way as it will likely just lead to disappointment (better to look at the deals and then see which will work for your needs) If you want the Courtyard is can be booked HERE (confirm your dates on the landing page) for just $95/nite, and with no booking fee, would be just about the same price as any of the offers above... so if this is the property you want why not just book it for about the same price? (70% recommended) Amenities fromthe "green button" : FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Near beach, Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Kitchenette, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower ( My 2.5 star deal appears to be still there at $88) Any help ID'ing this hotel? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
Researching hotels can be a time consuming process, so it's not a good use of our resources to investigate properties that are not ready to be purchased (and it also slows down the response time to other users who awaiting a response before the offers for their own trips disappear) When PRICELINE / HOTWIRE don't work for your needs it It would be appreciated if you supported the board for your regular rate purchases by using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com.
