pennywaltz
I currently have a room at the Westin near the Convention Center for $170 with my AAA discount.. I am wondering if I can get a better deal with Name your Own Price that is walking distance to the Convention Center? Can someone give me a nice bidding strategy to follow? Link to comment
thereuare
I assume we are talking about Philadelphia? Current rates at the Westin (even the AAA rate) is more than $50 more than your reservation above, so i assume you booked this awhile ago? (and you may have been able to have beaten it at the time of booking, but it will become more difficult now that rates have gone up) Which zones (by PRICELINE name) would be acceptable to be 'within walking distance' to the Convention Center and what would your maximum bid be based upon your current back-up reservation? pennywaltz
I think I will stick with the rate I have. I have looked at Phily's zones and only two, maybe 3 zones that are walking distance (20 min walk). So I am unsure if I would get a better rate with only 3 zones and using a bidding strategy Yeah I did book 2 months ago just as a just in case thing. Thanks! Link to comment
