Priceline Hotel: Bid Strategy Suggestion?

I assume we are talking about Philadelphia?

Current rates at the Westin (even the AAA rate) is more than $50 more than your reservation above, so i assume you booked this awhile ago? (and you may have been able to have beaten it at the time of booking, but it will become more difficult now that rates have gone up)

Which zones (by PRICELINE name) would be acceptable to be 'within walking distance' to the Convention Center and what would your maximum bid be based upon your current back-up reservation?

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

I think I will stick with the rate I have. I have looked at Phily's zones and only two, maybe 3 zones that are walking distance (20 min walk).  So I am unsure if I would get a better rate with only 3 zones and using a bidding strategy

Yeah I did book 2 months ago just as a just in case thing.

Thanks!
