Jlapl169
Hi, We are planning a get away with another couple to Chicago on Friday, July 7-9, in the Downtown-River North area. We would like a 4.5 star rating. Priceline Express Price for a 4.5 rating is $158/night. We would need 2 rooms (2 adults each room). We would also consider Magnificent Mile-Gold Coast area. We would appreciate any recommendations on bids. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! To confirm, did you want to bid both the Downtown-River North and the Magnificent Mile-Gold Coast zones... or only add the second zone if bidding in the first zone fails? What is your maximum bid amount for this stay? Let us know the information about and we'll take it from there. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Jlapl169
Thanks for the response and the time it takes to analyze this. We only want to stay in the Downtown/River North zone. If the River North Zone fails, then we would accept the Magnificent Mile-Gold Coast. Knowing the PRICELINE EXPRESS price for a 4.5 Star Hotel is $158/night, our maximum bid would be $145. Thanks for your help! Jeff Link to comment

Jlapl169
Thank you for your help! Once I made it to the $130 mark I saw HOTWIRE came out with 4.5 stars for $121/night. After fees and taxes we paid $155/night. We got the Godfrey in Chicago. Link to comment

ArtfulDodger
I just stayed there last Thursday night, it is a nice hotel and great staff. I asked for a high floor to avoid the noise of the nightclub and they gave me one with a city view on the 13th floor. I couldn't ask for more for $97. Link to comment
Jlapl169
How did you get the price of $97? Through what website? Link to comment
