krzysz Posted April 30, 2017 Report Share Posted April 30, 2017 I obtained it via a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal and it was my first booking on Priceline ever. Perhaps someone more experienced is willing to enlighten me: I am surprised I got this hotel because I couldn't find a match for this Express Deal on the regular hotel lists. After the hotel name was revealed to me, I searched for it by name and it turns out PRICELINE has no availability for this date. Then I searched for it on kayak and it turns out to be available only on Anoma, for 235 usd plus tax. What does it indicate: could it be that the hotel is nearly completely booked because of a convention and they are selling out the remaining rooms? Another interesting observation: I got this deal by clicking the PRICELINE add at the top of BB. I couldn't find it otherwise. It pays to enter PRICELINE via this website. It will be my first Priceline stay ever. I am planning to arrive early and leave in the late afternoon. I hope the hotel will be able to store my bag before/after check-in/out. Link to comment

It's not unheard of for us to see wins from PRICELINE / HOTWIRE when the hotel's own website is showing sold-out, but it's certainly the exception to the rule.
