Hello -- I love your site and use it all the time.

The 4.5 hotel I'm looking at has a rate of $158 for Jan. 30-Feb. 3. These are the amenities:

  • Complimentary free internet
  • Boutique hotel
  • Business center
  • Fitness center
  • Indoor pool(s) [The big selling point for me!]
  • Pool(s)
  • Restaurant(s)
  • Self-service laundry
  • Smoke-free rooms

The hotel also offers bed choice.

The mobile version of Hotwire show the first part of a review that says, "Right at the central train station, many busses and trains and restaurants and services conve..."

From all the evidence, it sounds to me like the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel, though that would hardly be called a boutique. What do you think? Thank you!

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

4.5* Norrmalm - Gamla Stan for $154.00
Free Internet
Boutique
Indoor Pool
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Laundry
Hi-Speed Internet
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> if this is what you're seeing, the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel would be my best guess as well.  I wouldn't be deterred by the 'boutique' designation as it's a very vague term and doesn't (imo) mean anything specific.

Thanks so much for the intel! I have made a cancelable booking directly with the hotel, because at the moment Hotwire would save me no more than $10 a night, once the fees are factored in -- and I'd be tempted to buy Hotwire's travel insurance, which would bring everything even. But I'll keep watching this rate on the chance that it might get better.
