Priceline Hotel: 4.5* New York City (Chelsea) Innside New York Nomad

This hotel, as expected from BetterBidding, turned out to be the Innside New York Nomad. It's a stretch to call West 27th at 6th Avenue "Chelsea," but otherwise it looks like a good hotel. $240/night actually = $297/night after taxes and fees, and that such isn't a screaming good deal. Is it just me or did the fees go up from Priceline and Hotwire? Are they making us pay their cut now?  In any case, thanks for the info, BetterBidding.

if you're up for a short walk in the morning (the weather is supposed to be nice for this time of year) i recommend this place not too far away:

Best Bagel and Coffee

225 W 35th St (north side of the street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues)

 

If you can't get one of the few tables they have inside, or a stool by the window, take your breakfast to the outside tables in front of Macy's or to the bleacher seating behind the TKTS booth in Times Square to watch the world go by as you take in the sights, sounds, and people of NYC.
