thereuare Posted February 25, 2003 Report Share Posted February 25, 2003 I think hotel tax rates are generally high in a lot of states that you wouldn't expect because it's politically correct....States/cities need revenue and don't want to tax the poeple that vote, so they tax those that visit the town... via excessive hotel taxes!
