Priceline Hotel: Carlsbad Sheraton only 4 star hotel

Hello,

 

I was wondering if it's a guarantee you will get the Carlsbad Sheraton if you choose 4* in the Carlsbad Priceline section (since it is the only 4* listed in your hotels in that area)? If not a guarantee, is there a really high chance it will be the hotel you will get?

Please start by following-up your previous Priceline San Francisco hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip, then reply here with the dates of your stay above, as well as your expected budget, and we will reply accordingly.

Ok, I just replied to the SF hotel thread. I didn't know if you wanted to me to say I didn't go through PRICELINE.  I am not sure of the dates yet (maybe mid November), and would like to spend about $115 for the room at the Sheraton. Just wondering if you choose 4* if the Sheraton will be the hotel you get most likely?

The Sheraton is the only hotel that has been reported to the board at the 4* level. That can always change as there could be a new hotel or star ratings can change at any time, so there is certainly the risk you can get something else. You could also get upgraded to a 4.5* or 5* rated hotel (since the star rating you choose when bidding is the minimum star level that you're willing to accept). Please let us know when you have date/s confirmed as strategy is going to vary depending on the exact set of dates.
