thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. Best guess/comments for each: HOTWIRE: 31/2 star hotel 136.00 USD per room per night* Downtown Toronto East => Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown 4 star hotel 140.00 USD per room per night* Downtown Toronto East ==> Pantages Hotel Toronto Centre (or possibly the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan) Assuming the PRICELINE EXPRESS is this 4* Downtown Toronto Southeast - Union Station & St Lawrence Market hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) with the amenities above... ==> best guess here would be the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. Petal1970
Thanks a million for checking this out for me. The Executive Cosmopolitan would be fine, not so keen on the Pantages as it's quite a fair way inland and I'd like to be closer to the Lake. I've tried bidding on Priceline for a few nights, for downtown southeast and downtown southwest - the highest I've bid was 120 Euro (about 132 US$) for a 4-star but no luck so far. [The Cosmopolitan comes up at around 922 US$ on both hotels.com and priceline.com - on priceline express (if correctly identified at around 706 US$] Using this boards HOTWIRE link again, I've seen <dead link removed> also, 3 star, downtown Toronto southeast75% recommended 122US$ per night Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Business center Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry Spa services Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Ideally what I want is to get a nice hotel downtown close to the lake for about 140US a night - but this proves tricky!! Thanks for all your help so for Link to comment

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Also, please confirm the zone name as i don't currently see any 'Downtown Southeast' zone on HOTWIRE. thereuare
Not certain for this 3* but the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown, Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre, and Ramada Plaza Toronto Downtown would all be among the likely candidates. There is also this 3* Downtown Southeast property (confirm your dates on the landing page) with: Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Bond Place Hotel would be my guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
