We'll be in town for 1 night.

We were both there 20+ years ago.

Plan is to fly in, arrive in the morning then go to the zoo or sea world.

I'd like to grab a drink at the Hotel Del Coronado.

We'll take the Coaster train to Oceanside the next day.

What areas work for that.  Not super picky about hotel -- 3 stars or better & clean is all we need.  I think I'd like the gas lamp district but can be flexible.

Based on your plans, in terms of the HOTWIRE zone map, which zones would work best in terms of being comfortable with potentially being anywhere within the zone boundaries?

Let us know your desired date of travel and max budget for this stay (as well as any other details, such as if you are looking for a particular style of hotel) and we would be happy to research and offer some suggestions based around what you are looking for.

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
