silsil
Hi, I´m going to LA from 7/7-7/11 and I was wondering to stay in this area. It´s 2 adults and a 3 year child. It´s ok to try 1 room, right? I want to pay US 200/night. Do you think it´s ok? Thank you Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Few questions to address first... One room should be fine, but i think the real question is whether you're comfortable booking for double occupancy? (when in reality you''ll be 2adults/1(young)child) With PRICELINE bidding all that is guaranteed is a room that will accommodate double occupancy, so you need to ask yourself how easily you would be able to adapt if the room only had one bed... could you child sleep in the same bed as the two adults? (even if it's a small bed?) Hopefully there would be some sort of sofa (or sofabed) in the room, but if you not, would you be OK in a 'worst case scenario' of: putting a chair/ottoman together as a 'bed' for your child, making some sort of bed area on the floor with an extra set of sheets and a pillow, buying a cheap inflatable pool raft to use as a make-shift inflatable mattress, or any other unique ways to make the situation work for your family's needs) Some PRICELINE EXPRESS offers show a Bed Choice option that will allow you to choose a room that has at least two beds in the room (or a Queen or King minimum if you think either of these would work for your needs) HOTWIRE also has some offers that show a Bed Type. Lastly, HOTWIRE will allow you to search for up to quad occupancy, which would guarantee accommodations for everyone you include in your search... but this may also at time increase the price a bit. What are your plans once in the area? Let us know your thoughts in regards to the bedding/occupancy, as well as your plans for the area, and we'll take it from there.
