Any thoughts?  I didn't see a pet friendly option in the hotel listing - but may have missed it..  Will probably check out priceline as well.

Please start by following-up your previous Hotwire Fort Lauderdale thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip.

Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans.

For the offer above, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above?

You were fairly particular with your needs for your last trip in this area... do you have any specific needs or hotels you're trying to target/avoid for this trip?

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Thanks for the reply.  Sorry about not closing out the old post.  Not so sure I like the original post as it seems to be Ciaqala (sp).

Looking at the same criteria today but for Isla Verde, it's interesting that area shows 3 listings for 4*.

Can you distinguish which hotel this is ($207 per night):   Resort, Beachfront hotel, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

Don;t know the protocol if I should have opened a new post.

Oh, and I am particular - there are some hotels I really do not want.  Not the Sheraton and not the Water Club

As per the Hotwire Hotel List the 4* Isla Verde property above matches previous reports for the Intercontinental San Juan Resort Spa and Casino.

Does this one meet your needs?  If not, what hotel(s) are you looking for?

Not sure if you're still interested in the Condado area, but Ciqala does not have a casino, so I would rule that one out.  After a quick peek, I'm feeling pretty confident that it's the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino (same stars, has casino, high user rating, similar prices, no mention of beach/ocean nearby).

Thanks to both of you for the replies.

I would have no complaint with the Intercontinental but much prefer the Condado area.  Not a fan of the Sheraton in comparison to some other 4* Condado due to lack of beachfront (and that's a deal killer with the wife and kids).  Seems like the PR board had a lot more activity before they classified Sheraton and Water Club as 4*.

Would love to score the Marriott Stellaris or the Vanderbilt - but that's optimal scores.  So I am being a little select.  Intercontinental would work fine - but I may take a run at priceline tonight.  Or maybe just pay the incremental on Marriott.
