dangr
Grand total with taxes and fees was $163.96. Listed amenities: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry I've been to the Benson before, and it's a perfectly nice hotel in an excellent location. I briefly considered the 4.5* for $126 (also downtown Portland), but Hotwire noted a likely resort fee of $19 for that one. I'll go WAY out of my way to not pay this ridiculous tack-on charge that supposedly pays for stuff like newspapers and swimming pools at most places. And I avoided priceline on this since they don't disclose likely resort fees, which several of the downtown Portland 4* and 4.5* are likely to have. It would be AWESOME if BetterBidding's hotel listings noted which ones tack on resort fees! As always, I used Betterbidding's HOTWIRE link for the search. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your results with the board. I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post, which would not have been seen unless you searched using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. Can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the full list of amenities associated with this property (including any accessible amenities)... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. You can use our sister site ResortFee.com to see the additional fees charged by any hotel (it's automatically updated at least once a week so is more current than anything we could keep track of manually as hotels are reported to the board) Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Have a great stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
