This would likely be the Allegro. Nice hotel but not a particularly convenient one. Would rather a 4.5* in the Downtown-MP-GP area for $112 w/Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Tennis, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower.

-- This would be a possible match for the Swissotel.

I'm trying to figure out which hotel this could be ... not a lot of amenities listed, even when you click through to the booking page...

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

At the last minute, I saw a 4* in the Lincoln Park area for $101/night.

 

Since the only 4* in the area was Hotel Lincoln, I bid on that and won it.

 

Amenities: Free Internet, Boutique, Fitness Center, Business Center, Golf Nearby, Pet Friendly, Smoke-free Rooms, Restaurant(s), Internet Access, Tennis Nearby

 

I was pleased with the stay, but it would not have been worth it at the $249/night rack rate.

To confirm, did you bid on this with PRICELINE or take a HOTWIRE offer at $101?  (it's not clear since you mention bidding (PRICELINE), but then listed amenities that would appear to be from HOTWIRE)
