rspencer38
Hey there, I am looking to get a booking for downtown Toronto (near the rogers center) from Oct 16-18th. I prefer 4*+ and would ideally like to keep it under $175 per night. Any advice? Link to comment

rspencer38
Area I am interested in is Downtown Southwest - Entertainment Area. Would also consider Downtown Southeast - Union Station. Link to comment
thereuare
At current rates it doesn't look like $175/nite will likely be enough, but if you want to give it a try... When bidding 4* in the Toronto region you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. rspencer38
How do I know the star levels of each zone? Link to comment
AaronJB
During the bidding process, there is a screen with a map of zones and list of zones and star ratings. If you click on a zone, you should see the star ratings available in that zone - if a star rating is greyed out/can't be clicked, then there are no hotels at that star rating in that zone. If the star rating can be clicked on, there are possible hotels at that star rating. Please let us know if you have any questions before bidding. If so and you're still confused, list each zone and the highest star rating available in each, and we will confirm your findings. rspencer38
I think I got it figured out: Brampton BurlingtonMarkhamMississaugaOakvilleScarboroughToronto Airport WestToronto EastToronto North - North YorkToronto North - VaughanToronto West. So I start with my desired zone Downtown Southwest - Entertainment and try for 4*. If rejected, add one of the above zones and an increase bid amount and try again. Link to comment
