I saw this hotel on Priceline Express Deals and tried to fish for it on the Name Your Own Price tool. I bid $55 in the Tampa Airport North area, was counter-offered at $71, ignored it and rebid at $60 and was denied. Only 1 free rebid as of this writing in the area for a 2.5* so I was done. I considered bidding in the Tampa Westshore area and I thought that the hotel in that area (a 3.5* for $67) was going to be the Doubletree but my husband preferred a place with a breakfast so I went with the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal.
