wco
Hello! I found a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for a 4* hotel in Cancun Hotel Zone South Area with the following amenities at $66/night for 4/24 to 4/27:PoolParkingRestaurantBusiness CenterFitness CenterIs it safe to assume that this is the Westin Resort & Spa? And would it be possible to bid for this hotel at a lower price? Thanks in advance for the help! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! ...would it be possible to bid for this hotel at a lower price? There is no way to target, or avoid, a specific hotel when bidding on PRICELINE... you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid. Are you looking for the least expensive 4* or better for this stay... OR are you willing to pay a little more to have a guess as to the hotel being offered? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. wco
Thanks for your response! I'm looking for the least expensive 4* in either Cancun Hotel Zone, Cancun Hotel Zone South, or Cancun North Beach. Link to comment
thereuare
So that we don't suggest a strategy that goes higher than you're willing to pay, what is your maximum bid for a 4* hotel in one of these zones? wco
Looking at the calendar of wins, I'd love to match the $55/night that another user found, but I'm willing to go as high as $100-$120/night. Link to comment
thereuare
With the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above at $66/nite why would you go higher than this price, as you could just end up with this same hotel but paying more than you need to? wco
Makes sense. I thought I'd try bidding on PRICELINE, and managed to get the Westin Resort & Spa for $55/night. Thanks for helping me think this through! Link to comment
