dahammer
due to an early flight out of BWI, I needed to book a room near the airport and was hoping to get one with a free shuttle. I was really surprised at how many re-bid zones are available in the Baltimore zone at the 3* Level (a total of 5 re-bid opportunities). Started bidding at $45 at the 3* level and was unsuccessful up to $55. I closed my browser and re-accessed Priceline and started bidding at the 2.5* level at $45, probably too high given that there are 4 re-bid opportunities at the 2.5* level, and was successful. Your Offer Price: $45.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.08 Total Charges: $58.08 This represents a savings of $100 compared to a direct booking with the hotel website. This property features a free shuttle (within a 5 mile radius) which includes the airport, Amtrak's BWI Station, and the Light Rail Station (which passes right by Camden Yards, $4 round trip for all you Bosox fans unable to get tix at Fenway) but free parking for up to 4 days. After that, the weekly rate is an unbelievably low $30. As always, I used savingsbarn.com to to help support a great board Link to comment
