Was a little disappointed due to location (we are going on a cruise), but the price was pretty good. Thought about taking the 4 star downtown, but it was hard to pass up the included breakfast.

Just as a heads-up, Rampart St. can be pretty sketchy at night. I'd also say it's a little deceptive for Hotwire to classify this hotel as being in either the Quarter or near Bourbon St. Yes, it is technically in the former -- Rampart is one of its borders -- but the hotel is a full five blocks from even the outermost edge of the main stretch of Bourbon (the north end of which ends around St. Ann).

Thanks for the warning. That helps alot. We were originally going to take the bus from the airport, but now we'd have to walk the 0.8 miles from the E2 bus drop off to this hotel. If it is sketchy, maybe we should just fork out the $60 to take a cab.
