Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip North) Treasure Island

Booking my hotel for my annual March Madness trip for 3/18-3/22

So far I have tried 5* in Strip South up to $150 with no luck, I figure it will probably take a lot more to win Cosmo, Aria, or Vdara so I will have to shoot lower in terms of quality.

My previous strategy had been 4* Strip North with Treasure Island or Mirage which I love both, however they've added a new hotel in that zone which I do not want (SLS) so I am having to adjust my strategy.

I am using the boards links for my searches.

This is definitely a tough period; 5*'s are definitely pricey, but a 4* should be able to be had well within your range, as there's a number of options on Price.line under $150 and some around or under $130.

Which zones are acceptable? Is a casino a must? I'm seeing the Trump for $155.

I was considering these same dates for a Vegas trip (was going to meet some friends for their bi-annual March Madness trip) so i've been tracking these dates for awhile (but unfortunately airfare likely makes this trip prohibitive for me). If you could ensure avoiding the SLS, what would be your budget for a 4* hotel? What would you be your maximum budget for a 5* in the Strip North zone? Is the Strip South zone acceptable at all?

Strip is a must and a casino is a must. I do have a 10% priceline express coupon so I've been looking at those too.

Strip North or Strip South is fine. I don't want to bid on a hotel in the Strip North 5* because of the Trump which I do not want.

I'd prefer not to go over $120/night for 4* because of the resort fees (which are ridiculous), which would end up putting it at $150/night.

Any interest in the Luxor for $113/nite, Tropicana for $132/nite, or Treasure Island for $144/nite?

The 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board and could possibly be something else, but when searching for a 4* on the strip on the retail side w/ Free Internet

Free Parking

Swimming Pool

Fitness Center

Restaurant

Casino

SLS is an option.

When I add business as an amenity, SLS goes away.

When i just clicked on the current 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS offer in the Strip North zone i received a message that the offer was no longer available, so once you're ready to commit you may want to post the current offer at that time to see if it is likely the same one as above and/or our best guess for the offer at that time.

I am also trying to get a 5 star hotel, but just for Friday night.  I am staying in a condo the first few nights.

My 5th year going to March Madness in Vegas and love it.

I noticed you can score good deals for Wed night, but Friday and Saturday much harder.

I just tried and was rejected on a $145.00 for 5 star for North and South strip as well as rejected like the loser I am for a 4.5.

I know it is early and not expecting to win now, but keep trying just the same.

Way back in the day I used to think Hotwire was better, but they seem to never have good deals as they did before.
