mazinblu
Didn't find much updated information here so went at it on my own. Used the link on this page to go to Priceline.com to search for rental cars at LAX. Cheapest price was $28/day, from sixt (who?). Hotwire is $21/day Went to name my own price to bid $15/day. Bid was rejected but was offered the chance for another bid. I tried to bid $17, but got an error message that said I needed to bid more than $18. I tried $18 even, got same error message (they really did mean MORE THAN $18). Bid $19 and was accepted for mid-size (chevy cruze or similar) at Hertz. Total cost after fees & taxes was $61.31 btw, I love this site. Thanks for the help. Link to comment
