If you bid for a 4* in a particular zone, you have to be willing to accept ANY hotel at that star rating in that zone. Hot.wire shows one (sometimes two) hotels per zone per set of dates, but may not be showing the hotel you are looking for. Are these two properties the only acceptable hotels? I can get what looks to be the La Concha to appear, but only when searching for 4adults, and the price increases to $174/nite... what is your maximum budget for this trip? You could book the La Concah for $199/nite refundable rate and then hope that rates some down between now and your trip.
