When you want to book at Hot.wire, they mention "Primary guest must be 18 and bring ID." Unfortunately, our company is a group of 17-year olds and we don't have an 18-year old with us. Could this cause any problems in Brussels, Belgium? We can bring written permission of our parents etc...

Can you please add further replies to your Hotwire Chicago and Raleigh-Durham Hotwire hotel threads with the informatino requested.

Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you receive them as this helps keep the board better organized and more useful to everyone, as well as is a courtesy to anyone that helped with your trip.

As far as the age requirement issue above, you could run into an issue with any hotel you book (regardless of whether it's thru HOTWIRE or not)... due to liability issues, and that those under 18 years old can't typically enter into a legally binding contract (without other consent), i think most hotels will not rent to guests where no one in the party is of legal age. Even with parental permission many hotels may shy away as it may not be worth the hassle (and at least in the States, the legality of it may not hold up if there is some sort of issue)

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
