mrotis
Hi - I seem to remember a page of amenities listed for hotels so one could gauge which hotel would be revealed if won. Does this still exist? Thanks! Link to comment
AaronJB
There is link to a listing of Hot.wire or Price.line wins (depending on which sub-forum) in every Price.line or Hot.wire state sub-forum. You can also find the lists by clicking the "Need Help?" button in the upper corner of the forum and then "see hotel lists." Please let us know the details of your trip if you need assistance. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
mrotis
Thank you. I see now - I was looking under Priceline lists which does not have amenities, only Hotwire does. I will research bids - looking for a Milwaukee, Downtown 4* via Priceline for 6/20. Hopefully based on other posts, not more than $60. Link to comment

The amenities that show ('guaranteed amenities') sometimes during the bidding process when you click on a star rating and a zone are not a reliable way to guess which property will be won. Unfortunately, $60 does not look like it's going to be enough for downtown Milwaukee for this night - I'd guess there's something significant going on. HOTWIRE has a 4* for $220 in downtown Milwaukee for this night. Are you driving in? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
mrotis
Yes on driving in. I saw that Hot.wire listing too and had me worried. Link to comment
thereuare
Given the very high rates, what is your game plan for this trip? Using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find for an acceptable hotel in the area? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
AaronJB
I think $60 is going to be difficult even in some of the surrounding areas, but Brookfield (which has a reasonably nice Sheraton that appears to be showing on Hot.wire for $120), as well as Milwaukee West and Glendale are options worth considering.
