patman9154
Today i was on priceline trying to book a car for my friend coming to visit me in Portland this weekend (Pickup 4/26 1pm). I went to book him a rental car for the weekend (Return 4/27 11:00pm) on Priceline using the NYOP tool for a mid-size car at 17 dollars, and won. The thing is he is between 21-24 (which I indicated in the NYOP tool) and I was under the impression that I would be getting charged a fee ($27 / day per some internet research) because of this. At checkout my total for the weekend came out to be $84.73 and when I look at the detail behind the "Taxes and Fees" I see nothing about an underage fee. Basically I think this is too good to be true and want to see if anyone has any experience around this situation. Regards, Guys trying to rent a car for a bro Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! My guess is that you have not yet won a car and that you're looking at the 'review your information before we submit your bid' page... did you already enter your credit card information, click the 'Buy My Rental Car Now' button (and not just the 'bid now' button), and were told which car rental company accepted your bid? If none of these previous three items then you're on the 'review' page and your bid was not yet accepted. Please confirm and we'll advise further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
