Hotwire Hotel: 3* Las Vegas (Downtown) Plaza Hotel

My trip is from May 2 to May 5, and below is the information from Hot.wire

Downtown - Fremont Street area 3 star

Amenities: Free Parking, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s) and Internet access.

80% recommended

Price $58/night plus resort fee of $12/night.I think this is the Plaza Hotel in downtown. 

 

Is this a good deal? and is this hotel casino ok to stay.  I'm not a picky person and I don’t expect much from the hotel for this price, but I'm hoping it is clean.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

This is what i'm seeing for the 3* hotel in this zone when searching as per above for your dates:

Restaurant

Hi-Speed Internet

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

... if this is what you're seeing my best guess for this one would be the Plaza Hotel and Casino.

Ideally you want to stay in the main part of the strip (especially if this is your first trip to Vegas), but i see rates are high for your dates, and a well located 3* or better will likely cost you in the $110-$130 range. If this is out of your budget, the Plaza gets decent reviews and would be a decent choice for the price.
