I am looking at a hotel with the same description & amenities but it shows a price of $132 for dates April 19-23. (Didn't mean to hijack this thread - let me know if I need to start a separate post)

Its very likely the Omni - which is quite nice.

I agree that the Omni, upgraded to the 4.5* level since last reported to the board, would appear to be a likely outcome and that would be my best guess for this one as well.

Thanks a lot!  I'm new to this and trying to figure out the best ways to predict the outcome : )  Do the star ratings change often, like you mentioned with the Omni?

 

There is also a 4* hotel it's offering in the same area (San Diego - South Gaslamp).  The price is $105 a night.  The amenities are listed as:

 

Pool (s)

Business Center

Spa Services

Restaurant(s)

Internet access. 

 

Dates are 2/14-16.  I'm trying to figure out if it's the Solamar, but I'm having trouble, because the amenities aren't an exact match.  Is that pretty common that they change the amenities slightly, so it's tricky to figure out?

Unfortunately, this 4* has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. Star ratings do not change that often - there was a period where the accessible amenities were added a while back where there were a major amount of changes to amenities, but otherwise, the amenities that hotels are reported with do not change that often.

I just purchased the above hotel from Hot.wire and was awarded the Solamar Kimpton hotel.
