purplelotus Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 I have stayed at this hotel many times. You got an excellent deal. I've never won it on Hotwire or Priceline. AAA rates are often quite reasonable mid-week., and I try to stay when LaQunita is offering some bonus points in its frequent stay program. Rooms are spacious. The hotel is maybe 7 years old so still in fairly good shape. Front desk personnel and management not the best. Hard to get problems corrected; I remember flies flying all around the breakfast area once.. The hotel is not close to the town center or cruise port or any restaurants, I think there's a snack shop in a nearby strip mall, but that's about it. There's a movie theatre and miniature golf course nearby. We always have our car so transportation not a problem. Link to comment
